On 24^th January 1999, an invitation was sent to seven women to pray in the church services To his astonishment all of them prayed with tears. Thereafter a vision occurred to pray for the perishing souls, the same bringing relief to them. In this way many groups and organisations stated prayer groups, the vision is to encourage people to pray with tears. When the process of naming this group came his eyes fell on Jermiah: 9:17,18, herein was written - call for the wailing women. Thus the wailing women’s fellowship (W.W.F.) was started.

Since then it has been decided that the third Tuesday of every month shell be the W.W.F. day. Whereever Rev.Dr.Suvartha Raju goes for preaching he also introduces this W.W.F. and encourages the women in that area to pray for the perishing souls of that area. This message has spread all over the state of  Andhra Pradesh, India and even to other countries.
